Default [DVD] Veronica Mars Seasons 1 & 3 Any good prices online?

Does anyone know any place online that has Veronica Mars seasons 1 and 3 at a decent low price? Seems ever since they've announced they will be doing a movie now the price has gone up. Like for example about a week ago season 1 was around 12 on amazon and season 3 was like 32. Well now they've jacked up the prices on both now and I can't seem to find them anywhere online cheap. So I just thought I might ask on here and see if anyone knows of a place that might have them cheap. For now I'll just keep checking ebay but the prices are there are pretty high as well. Thanks.

Do you have any pawn shops around you? It might be worth checking one of them. I was at one last week that had all three seasons. They charged $2 a disc.

The first season was just $12.49 last week on Amazon. Can't believe it went up so much.

Give it a couple weeks/months for the hype for the movie to leave and prices should drop again. It was smart of them to remove it from Netflix when they announced the flick.

I think they have some packages on their kickstart page for the movie that you get the 3 dvds for donating.

Think that pack is like $150 or something, but I think you also get the blu ray of the movie, a t-shirt, poster, script, and some other crap.

If you are a fan it may be worth it.

I actually got mine used from amazon a few months ago for about $10-12 a season and they were in like new condition.

Oh wow they had on Netflix? Dang, wish I would have known thought it never had been on there. I figured Netflix never took down TV series. Anyways thanks for some of the advice on finding them cheaper.

They are starting the series again on the Soap Channel on the 11th. I am going to give it a shot then.

That comment was misleading, it was pulled like 2 years ago.

Also I believe you can stream this show on the WB's site. Free.

Oh I didn't realize it was that long ago, I guess it getting pulled had nothing to do with the flick.

Sadly they do. Movies too. It sucks when you're in the middle of a show and then it gets taken down. I think their contracts for them are only for so long and then they have to decide if they want to renew them or something. I'm not sure but maybe it being taken off Netflix had to do with SoapNet picking it up.

Anyway, I swear this show will never be on sale again before the movie comes out . I keep checking each week on Amazon out of curiosity and the price is not going down.

The prices for the third season on Amazon are just ridiculous. The cheapest I've seen that season was like $15 at Best Buy, I should've got it then.

Yes, I am a network tv hater only ever enjoying ADevelop, Castle, and Arrow.

The first season of VM is one of the best shows ever with the basketball/mascot episode being the only weak spot.

I know many hate Season 2, but I love it and I think it is better watched back to back rather than having to wait a week. I am halfway through it and love it (not as much as the 2nd) except for Jackie. She was a major miss on casting.

I got tired of waiting on Soap so I joined the trial on Netflix to fire through the dvds faster.

I never understood the love for Bell but I get it now.

Yeah, people I know that don't like her never watched the show. I'm pretty sure the majority of her fans watched Veronica Mars. I adore her because of it.

I know this thread is older but Wal-Mart has Season 1 for only $9.99. It's more on their website but in store it's $9.99.
