Munsters > Adams

Trailer made it look watchable but nothing special. Will be able to sell it to my 5 year old as a vamparina like film.

Wouldn't mind a Tim Burton Addams Family movie, maybe stop motion like Corpses Bride/The Nightmare Before Christmas. Or live action, I don't mind, as long as it's R Rated so we see some grisly stuff.

To me, it sounds like Oscar Isaac is doing his best at mixing John Astin and Raul Julia with his own thing. I like it. Not yet sold on Charlize's Mortica.

I just saw the trailer, and it looks okay for the most part. I'm just surprised that Wednesday's face looks a lot like the balloon she's carrying around.

Might be a cute movie, but I think they went quite overboard with the thinness of Morticia and Wednesday. And as for Wednesday, I almost get a headache looking at her. It's sort of like seeing an anamorphic film without the anamorphic lens combined with problematic 3D.

That's how they looked in the original comics. If you have a problem with it, then blame the creator.

Too late for that - Charles Addams died in 1988. Its kinda sad that he never lived to see the 1990s films; I'd have liked to know his reaction to them.

Wouldn't mind a Munsters animated movie as a kind of sequel and combined universe

If you think Wednesday and Morticia are anywhere near as thin in Addams' drawings as they are in the film trailer, you might want to head to an optometrist.

Can anyone see the comments section on the article? I said something I was hoping to get a reply to.

https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=24932

Why would blu-ray.com remove it?

I believe it was getting a little too heated for the mods. Although I never understand why they remove threads, rather than simply close them.

Because some members need to realize that there are more than one type of American family these days. We live in 2019, not the dark ages.

It had nothing to do with the actual movie, but instead the lead-up to the film footage. A bunch of people who frequent Halloween and Friday the 13th threads were apparently very offended by skin color and gender.

Amazing cast and 3 good jokes.
Still looks bad, no Addams Groove is a big loss.

Honestly I really liked the second trailer. It reminded me of the original sitcom so much and I can see the writers have a lot of fun with the suburbs scenario. I may be the creepy thirtysomething dude watching a kids movie by himself, but I'll be checking this one out in theaters.
