OK... this is odd. Can anyone confirm the following; the version included according to the product page is now the new director's cut (120 min), and the theatrical version is listed on the back as being included as an extra in SD quality. So it would appear that they did include the new cut after all.

translated from customer review:

"A cult Horror 90s, in this edition Director's Cut with half an hour of deleted scenes and an alternate ending. What to say? Thanks to Quadrifoglio you can enjoy it in Blu ray. Too bad the original version, which found as extra, is in Standard Edition, so in HD. Version Foreign distributed in the US, it has both versions in HD, and many more extras than our version, which only has an original trailer and indeed the original version in Standard Edition. However much it is already distributed in Italy. So thank Quadrifoglio. Recommended purchase."

Just like the Spanish disc, this looks like another bootleg, Just search for that company Quadrifoglio on amazon.it and you'll find various releases that are obvious dupes, ripped from other, more respectable releases from Olive, Twilight Time, Studio Canal etc. Polanski's Pirates was only released in France by TF1 and the Italian edition has the French Dub track... Lionheart has recently been released in Germany and all of a sudden comes the Italian disc - with German audio... So it's doubtful that these are legal releases. A number of Quadrifoglio's releases has also been released in Spain by the notorious Resen.

Edit: just found out Quadrifoglio is the new name of known bootleg outfit Stormovie.

The Spanish disc is a legit pressed release of the Director's Cut. I watched it a few weeks back.

Same goes for their release of Monkey Shines.

Resen do press discs from time to time (whenever they can't compress the material enough to fit it on a BD-R), but I really doubt they have have the legit rights. It was a hassle even for Shout! to get the the American rights from Warner, so I don't think a company known to produce bootlegs on a regular basis would be able to obtain distribution rights.

Yeah, totally agree. Should of clarified when I wrote legit I meant just in terms of being a pressed disc, not a cheap as chips BD-R. Not really sure how Resen/llamento are still in business.

No extras on the Spanish edition other than a trailer.
