Awww man! Beast Busters! I had no idea they were adding that game. I loved that in the arcade.

Beast Busters is one of my fav arcade games ever! That title alone would be worth buying this for.

I wonder what the differences will be between the home and arcade versions regarding certain games? Which home versions are we talking about here?

Anyway I'm going to buy this today.

The home versions are all NES/Famicom since this package pre-dates the Neo Geo and 16-bit systems. Then they have Japan and US/International version of all games where applicable.

Ah, I see, thanks. That's a nice feature but I'm only interested in arcade versions myself.

Btw how does Beast Busters play in handheld mode, is there a touch screen option by any chance? Also do you happen to know if there will be more DLC in the future?

I only played Beast Busters for a few minutes and got destroyed. The analog was way too sensitive and I was all over the screen. Unfortunately it seems the d-pad does not work with this. I was unable to find a way to adjust the sensitivity on the analog.

I'm going to try it again with my Pro Controller today (and give it a shot with SNES 30 Pro too)

It was still great seeing this game again though because I haven't played it in years.

Thanks.

So touching the screen in handheld mode is not an option? I mean with your fingertip pointing where you would want to shoot? I've played it this way using an emulator on a mobile phone, and it works great.

I tried it with my Pro and the sensitivity was way too high on that as well.

I haven't tried touch screen. I'll give it a shot (no pun intended) and let you know.

I reached out to Frank Cifaldi about the analog sensitivity being high and if I was just playing it wrong. He replied back that having an option to change it would be a great idea. Hopefully a patch is in the works.

No touchscreen it would seem, so it looks like we have to hope for an update.

Larry Hyrb (Major Nelson) Tweeted this was Xbox bound. Nothing yet from the DE account so I'm not sure if this was their announcement or not.

*edit* This is in fact the announcement. Also that Xbox is getting Baseball Stars as an exclusive. Not thrilled that early supporters are getting shafted.

That is some BS right there...
