That has never been the case that I'm aware of, with Best Buy at least. If a game retails for $40, it's pre-order price is $40. Amazon does weird things with prices, but I have never seen Best Buy do a "placeholder" price before.

Well it has been, soooo....
Like I said, I expect it to be $60 but until Nintendo put up a price on their own site then it isn't official yet.

Similar thing happened with the Switch itself where some retailers put up pre-orders for $250 because everyone was "certain" that it would retail for $250 at launch.

J'ai peur qu'il soit cher ŕ la sortie... dommage mais hate de le faire. En esperant qu'il soit mieux fait que "Secret of mana" (PS4)

There’s a Dreamer Edition at Best Buy. No info except that it’s $10 more. Also an amiibo listing. That wasn’t on the Direct was it?

*edit* Dreamer edition just includes an art book. Meh.

I didn't see it at the Driect, but the Amibo was mentioned on a few websites so it must have been in a press release.

After watching the trailer for this it made me wish they’d have remade Pokemon Yellow in this style, instead of what we got.

I like the look of it. They put a finish on it that makes it look like the game. Real shiny like a ceramic figure.
