I was just able to finish Season 2 on Bluray. Great Season, with great score. The Bodycount was intense and the Story extremly complex, but never boring. The waiting for Season 3 will be tough.

The Lakers sucked donkey balls last night, so I finished season two of Westworld instead

Had to upgrade the 9/10 on IMDb to a 10/10 after watching season two. Game of Thrones, The Expanse, Maisel and Westworld are far and away the best shows on TV right now and in a long time.

I understood that way more than I did Westy S2. Episode 8 of the TP revival was a cakewalk compared to this. Just didn't get into S2 at all.

Maybe give it a rewatch? I understood Season 2 after finishing it, but had some issues with the story and a few other things. Rewatching it and seeing everything come together made me like it more and resolved my issues. I now think it’s superior to the first season.

And if you’re still confused, maybe this’ll help:

Net sleuths have determined that the final season of Westworld will have only 8 episodes, based on HBO’s website having created holding places for 8 episodes.

That’s still long enough to tell a good story, so, that’s ok.

And action figure fans should check out the usual online retailers for preorders on a set of three Westworld action figures that are due out this fall. They’re Dolores, Dr Ford, and the Man in Black. These are realistic figures by Diamond Select Toys, not the Funko Pops. Preorders determine if they get made, so, I’ve preordered the set. I chose this source: https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Produ...nDetails/91100

Do you mean the third season will be the final season? Because that hasn't been announced anywhere as of yet. Link?

Canít comment on the episode count because I havenít heard anything, but this absolutely is NOT the final season. HBO have said recently that they are satisfied with the showís viewership and the creators have at least 5-6 seasons planned.

No statement about if the third season is the last. But you saw the news From March - HBO CEO Richard Plepler resigned due to philosophical differences with the AT&T executive, John Stankey, who assumed control of HBO. All the reporting says to expect less expensive series now that Plepler is gone - and Westworld is not a less expensive series.

I believe the Nolans et al will wrap the story up in season 3, on the terms and budget that they got under Plepler, rather than face the prospect of possibly being offered a fourth season by Stankey that may need to be Westworld-lite in terms of budget.

But yes, this is all speculation.

Well you are wrong. Noway s3 is the final season. These FAKE rumours need to just die
This Will have 5 seasons. Its hugely popular all around the Globe

Quote:
The writers and producers have planned for the story to last up to five seasons. In November 2016, HBO renewed the series for a ten-episode second season, which premiered on April 22, 2018. On May 1, 2018, the series was renewed for a third season.
Less expensive. Huh?? Yet they have 2 Game of Thrones spin offs in the work. They are gonna have pricetags like their parent show likely or a little cheaper but still expensive.

That reporting was already debunked by HBO themselves along with the stuff that said they would try to be like Netflix.
