Default Digital or Physical

Do you prefer going all digital or all physical with your Switch games. Exceptions are allowed, i.e. you can still be "all physical" if you own a few digital-only games. (just not too many)

Digital 100%. Given the portable nature of Switch, it just makes too much sense.

Digital. Same reason as above, makes more sense.

Both. Physical for something I want to collect. I like to have something tangible plus box art is always cool. Digital for like indi games that I just wanna dabble in, but don't care too much in owning.

Physical is cheaper most of the time (unless you're talking about stuff like LRG) so physical.

Physical. With Gamer’s Club Unlocked at Best Buy, I get 20% off. Even if it weren’t for the savings, I’d always go Physical if given the option (except in cases where the difference in price is staggering).

I always choose physical. Digital is just for stuff that won't have a physical release.

Physical for movies and video games.

I only use digital for downloading songs on my iPhone.

Right now I'm mainly physical for BBY's GCU discount, but I'm being heavily persuaded over to the digital side for the convenience of not having to switch out cartridges.

I was happy to go with both initially, but decided to take the plunge and go all digital from this point onwards.

I’m currently away with my family and just having the likes of Odyssey and MK8 on the Switch and not having to worry about switching carts has solidified my choice.

Physical always unless digital is the only option (fingers crossed for Hollow Knight physical announcement)

Physical when possible... even though in this day and age it reallyyyy doesnít matter for games (given how often they require day-1 patches and get constant updates).

Itís cheaper to get physical (at least for consoles, most of the time) and thereís always the option of selling off something you donít want anymore. Iíve been selling a bunch of old games on eBay recently and while I donít have any huge sellers, when you sell a bunch, the profits add up.

Physical 99.9% of the time. If not for the PokeBall Plus bundle for Let's Go Pika/Eevee then I was considering making Pikachu my first digital only Switch game. I know that I'll never want to sell or get rid of my Pokemon games and I like to have them all with me whenever I'm out with my system.

If it is a game I know I wonít trade in then whichever is the better deals for PS4 since all games need to be installed anyhow, which is usually physical with GCU outside of occasional great PSN sales. All of my Arkham games are digital for example.

More physical for Switch given the limited stoarge space available.

Physical because the games are cheaper, I can resell them or loan them and, most importantly, I own them. Changing cards doesn't bother me and besides, mine is always docked and never used as a portable.
