Default Pink Floyd: The Wall

Sure would love for The Wall to come out on Blu-Ray. It would rock with some uncompressed sound.
Anyone else eager for this to be released on Blu-Ray?

Of course I would love to see it on Blu Ray,

However,... The DVD does have an uncompressed linear PCM track just FYI.

I'd like that lossless audio in 24/96 minimum. 16/48 won't do.

I'd love this on Blu....but the LPCM track on DVD still rocks! I can't see a BD release happening anytime soon (hope I'm wrong), so if you really want it and don't have the DVD......don't wait....you'll love it!

I'd also love to see "The Wall - Live in Berlin" performance on BD. The DVD was hard enough to find though.

Looks like it's easy enough to find these days... but back in 1991.... not so easy

http://www.amazon.com/Roger-Waters-W.../dp/B00009VTYE

If you've never seen it...... it is AWESOME. It was done at Potsdam Flats in Berlin. They were actually contructing this HUGE HUGE wall all through the concert.... and then knocked it down at the end. There were some really great performances by some fairly famous folk.... but some of the best performances were from people I'd never heard of. It was done not too long after the Berlin Wall actually came down so there was a dual meaning to the whole wall going up and getting knocked back down.

If you can find it, The Wall: Live in Berlin was released as a 2 SACD set, and it sounds fantastic for a live recording. It's one of my favorite SACDs.

Yeah, the DVD has an uncompressed 2 channel stereo track, which was mastered when the SACD was produced.

I'd like to see "Live at Pompei" in Blu as well.

The dog singing with the band is pretty cool.

PULSE was shot on standard-definition video, so visually it wouldn't benefit from a Blu-ray release. Sound would, though.

Oh Man that would be amazing. Live At Pompeii is probably one of my favorite concert films. Has a lot of great floyd songs. Only missing 1 in my mind from that period.... Fearless!

They shoudl remaster 'Live at Pompeii' though, the dvd didn't look too good. And of course the original 1.33:1 version should be added, and fully remastered as well. The cropped director's cut was crap.
And I would've hoped the original concert footage of The Wall would be released this year. It's the 30th Anniversary. It would be shot on film, so a Blu-Ray release could be in it as well.

David G has expressed remorse over going with video instead of using film. Even with 4K cameras starting to be used, I still think that right now film still makes sense as the primary capture medium.

The OP was about having The Wall two disc CD put out on Blu-ray audio I think???

If that is the question, I could just skip the video for a 7.1 LPCM or dts-HR/MA re-mix of the original recording. Oh Yeah I could.
