The world is in Peril. Evil is threatening to overtake Good. Men, Women and Children are afraid and uneasy as their freedoms and normal ways of life are on the verge of being lost. They are crying out for help, for someone to save them, for someone to protect them and triumph over the evil that would do them harm.

The world needs a hero, to rally the wayward hero's that remain, together, to battle against evil.

The New York Comic Convention (NYCC) 2016!

good evening my fellow NYCC 2016 fans. my daughter and I got back late this afternoon from the con and we are whipped. according to our iPhones, we each made an average of 14K+ steps every day at the show and our dogs are barking like a couple of mutha's.

we also each bought 3 statues and we had to carry them back to our air bnb. we even had to carry one of them (each) back during a rather heavy rain while in cosplay!

we walked at least 10 blocks (10 NYC blocks mind you) from the con to get to the train we needed, in the rain, carrying a statue, with no umbrella! we are troopers, we got it done son! F-that rain, we were on a mission and more importantly, we were in character so we had to stand up tall in the rain and deliver and not let folks see us waiver!

same thing today, had to carry all our stuff and our luggage to get to and on the NYC Trains from 150th st down to 34th st to get to Amtrak. that in and of itself was a battle! but we made it and we are home and I'm just getting somewhat comfortable and watched a couple of tv shows I've piled up in the ol' DVR since I was gone.

Mimi, my cat, was alone for 4 nights & 5 days and we've got a lot to chat and catch up on. she truly misses me and she is just meowing all over the damn place!

so, just keep checking back true believers and i'll slowly but surely start posting pictures and chatting about events during my time at NYCC 2016!
