I don't suggest it.
I did and now I can't re-establish that link. I have two UV and two Vudu accounts.I initially was going to have an account for the kids movies and another for the movies we watch. My kids love the Marvel characters but the Avengers, Iron Man and Thor movies aren't the best choice! Neither are any of the other drama/crime/suspense movies we have. That said, it was a plan that worked in theory but in practice, became harder to organize as the accounts swelled. Plus they quickly learned that passwords were saved and not saving them was becoming a PITA. I am seeking guidance on the best way to merge two UV and two Vudu accounts. Is their an order in which it should be done so that the libraries are combined without losing any titles? To add to this complexity, I have to contact UV because one account was de-linked from the Vudu we use and linked to the kids Vudu. When I tried to switch it back, UV freaked out and now Vudu gives me an error about exceeding the number of times I can link it. That number must be 2, once to each Vudu because the third time to go back is where I'm being stone-walled. I'm hoping this is a simple fix, I have 21 movies purchased over the holidays that I can't redeem because Vudu needs the UV link. I could probably use MoviesAnywhere but I prefer Vudu. I read that someone worked around this by combining two UV accounts but I'm reluctant to do that for fear UV may see that as a circumvention and I have way WAY too many titles to put at risk. So, assuming I can get the link re-established, what order should accounts be fused? UV first or Vudu first? |

Hi,
My mom passed last summer, I asked VUDU if they could combine both accounts as one since their record shows I'm the one buying all the movies in the first place, their response was NO! Entering passwords for both accounts became tiresome. A way I worked a round this was to purchase two ROKUs. I ran two HDMI cables from the ROKUs to the TV digital inputs. All I do is pick up either ROKU 1 or ROKU 2 if the TV is off which ever home button is activated on the ROKU 1 or 2 automatically turns on the TV and connects. If the TV is already on I've programed an "Aftermarket" type ROKU remote to copy the command of the TV remote to select inputs like HDMI 1, HDMI 2, Blu-ray 4K, Satellite, ect. It sure beats entering the E-mail & Password every time we switch back and forth. After awhile we don't even think about it. It is so second nature. Good luck, |

It is possible to merge UV accounts, but you would want to research mkre first because with Universal and Fox droppeling some UV support over the last year Im not sure if that means those titles would get stuck in UV. Merge UV by going througb myuv.com and in settings.
