I went to almost all the Austin shows they had. Was great to finally have a decent con in the area without having to drive all the way to Dallas or Houston.
My favorite was the very first con they did in 2010. Almost perfect timing for the dvd release of the complete series, and definitely perfect for being in Austin... having Lee Majors, Lindsey Wagner and Richard Anderson from 6 Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman. Was fun while it lasted, but you could tell as the years went on the quality and number of guests got smaller toward the end. |

All I can say is THANK GOD! I know so many creators who refused to appear at Wizard cons due to being made to feel like 2nd class citizens to the media talent. Philly has been pretty much a baron wasteland for good comic talent for years now with Wizard. While it may suck that I believe there is NO major con this year...as least there is really something to look forward to in 2022.
