Ya I had the same problem with finding that out at Walmart today. Best Buy is getting them on release day right? Walmart threw the iPad's on rollback today so I'm guessing they will be getting them. That is good news for me because I won't have to drive 2.5 hours and wait in line at the Apple store. Only thing is..how many will Walmart get and what time will they be available. My guess is 5pm like everywhere else.

A few tech blogs have said Target will be getting them but Target hasn't officially announced that yet. Wal-Mart, Sams Club and Best Buy have all confirmed stock for launch day. However, it's anyones guess how much any store will have in stock.

For what it's worth I'll be going to Best Buy. They are much closer and expect a lot less of a wait(hopefully). I think the Apple stores are going to be swamped with people, plus I'll get reward zone points at BB.

I don't want to carry something that big that ill just use to watch movies and listen to music.

Ipod is more than enough for me.

I emailed Target regarding them selling the iPad 2 on launch day. Here's the very generic response.

So far Best Buy, Wal-mart and Sam's Club will be getting the I-Pad 2 on release day...

Biggest problem is which one to get...black or white.

My kids have the same dilemma with the new Pokemon game coming out this weekend.

haha the White just looks idk "odd"..I like the regular black and aluminum look. It will go well with my MBP. White one will probably stand out more though.

haha..I like to be professional..I'll probably go with the leather but my guess is it's a vinyl composite.

That is a stretch of a review. They basically recapped what Jobs said.

The speed increases will not add value to normal users. Although, there has been no mention to the RAM in the new iPad.

I'm still waiting to see how iOS 4.3 changes the Safari performance.

Lol. Yeah, same here. One kid will get black, the other white. I have no idea what they're talking about.

They start rattling off names and all I hear is some foreign language. Celebi, Groudon, Gyardos, Piplup... what?

I know Pikachu. The Pokemon franchise has almost as good a marketing campaign as Apple.

Apple never talks about ram on their i products but I can't really see it being anything but 512 which is fine with me. Double the currents and same as iPhone 4 sounds good to me.

best buy is the best choice because they do offer no interest financing for a good amount of time so you can slowly pay them off + getting reward points wouldn't hurt also
