International shipping is up. I’m seeing 13 USD for the 3-pack.

$13 shipped to the US isn't too bad. $67 for two discs shipped is too much for me though. I'll either wait for them to announce more titles and do a large shipment or see what Diabolik is charging.

Are these exclusive to their site, or will they likely be stocked by JB on release?

Part of me wants to wait to grab them during a sale, another part of me wants to pre-order the set of three to lend support right off the bat to make sure that these three aren't all we get.

I ordered all three, came out to $73 plus the shipping. They don't have a deal yet with retailers like Diabolik from the last I heard.

Yes, I actually inquired with Chameleon about this yesterday—wanting to do whatever supports the label most. I received this friendly reply:

Quote:
At the moment we do not have an arrangement in place with a US retailer, although it will probably happen at some point.

In any case we maximise our margin via direct orders rather than offering to retailers at a lower wholesale price. The advantage is they take more units and shipping is taken care of via a third party.

Diabolik said on Twitter that they worked out an arrangement.

Liking the look of Chameleon Films, great to see more local labels. Will be one to keep an eye on for sure.

I’m tempted to go with DiabolikDVD now that they’ve put them up. It’s only $8 more for me for all of them and I consider that more of a convenience fee instead of worrying or concerning myself over the package’s trip from Aussie to US.

I’m just slightly reserved on buying them because I don’t like double dips at all and I somewhat always fear that happening if a UK or US label brings them over and gives them new scans. But alternatively, ya only lives once.

Great news with this label, will be getting most of what they put out. Would be lovely if they could do BURNING PARADISE, GREEN SNAKE, THE BUTTERFLY MURDERS, some Category III that could (unlikely) slip through the stupid OFLC guidelines, and tons of others. Very happy to see revised subs and equally happy to see they understand reversible covers minus the large OFLC defacement right off the bat. I hope this label does well, I've already told a couple of friends about it.

I'm really glad I convinced him to do booklets as well. He's gotten some really good writers on board.
The new Third Window Films announcement showed which one you were referring to.

Bless being region free.
Studios should know their sales would be greater if they were Region Free.

Also, I wonder if this label will release Japan's "Weatherwoman" movies? Madman's original DVD release had them presented in 4:3 letterbox.

We briefly had PayPal enabled as a payment option but switched it off because the funds were being held. We will probably reactivate it at some point, perhaps outside of a pre-order cycle.

There will be an announcement shortly with final details and a timeframe mapped out. Aiming for release mid-July.

Will we be seeing anymore title reveals soon, as it's been more than 3 months since the last title reveal.

Has the status on these titles being in rights hell changed? Some of these titles on the lists are getting restorations and releases outside of Asia. City on Fire, Once a Thief, and Full Contact have received restorations and are being released on blu in Germany, and I heard that John Woo's preferred version of Bullet in the Head was going to be getting a 4K restoration but it had to be postponed since the negatives went missing.
