Bitstream mix or direct for Headphones?

Hi, so I have a PS4 which I use as my bluray player and turtle beach stealth 520 headphones. These are surround sound but only support Dolby. When watching blurays, there are options which are bitstream mix and bitstream direct. I'm not sure which option I should be using.

• never buy wireless
• never buy turtlebeach
• If your setup came with a 3.5mm cable. plug the headset directly into the controller
