How to on a Samsung player?

How do I keep the player from going online for previews when playing a bluray disc? Last night I had some friends over to watch The Boxtrolls in 3D and it went online to search for previews. I could not figure out how to get out of it. It showed previews for approx. 10 minutes and we were all getting pretty annoyed. I am able to skip each preview on my Playstation 3 but could not do it on the Samsung. Thanks in advance for any input on this.

Disconnect the player from the internet, or disable the connection in your Network settings.
