On my Android phone I've got Podcast Addict, Stitcher, SoundCloud, and Spotify for listening to podcasts on my phone. If you listen to multiple podcasts (like I do) you'll need numerous apps because they're so spread out and there isn't a great central podcast app like Apple has. I've still got an iPod Touch for listening to podcasts in my car just because of the hassle it is going from app to app on my phone looking for podcasts.

I use Pocket Casts. It has a bunch of podcasts you can search for, but if it isn't in there then you can add custom RSS feeds. I have a couple premium podcasts that have custom RSS feeds that I have in that app. Works great, but it is not free. It also syncs between devices (Android, iOS, Windows Phone, and web).
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ly.pocketcasts I haven't used it, but the Google Play music app also has podcasts, but I don't know about adding podcasts that aren't in the app. |
