Or get them used for less...they are an extremely comfortable and nice sounding headphone, just pair them with a nice warm leaning amp. Just got in the Schitt Loki mini tone equalizer...getting the sound I've wanted from the HD700 dialed in now. I do like the difference it gives. I will say that I agree completely with everyone about the stock cable...it's a mess. Custom cable is so much better than that stock janky thing:
