So I just got a Boost Mobile ZTE Warp Connect Hotspot.
Activated it and even added a $50 card to the service. I hooked it up to my Windows 7 Desktop computer. I can see the Hotspots homepage. But when I try to enter the default password I get an error message stating that it's incorrect. I haven't even had the ability to add my own password, so it should work. On the Hotspot itself, when I turn it on it says that it's configuring the device and then I get a message to Contact Customer Care. Which I did, and I followed their suggestion about disconnecting the hotspot, restarting the computer and then hooking the hotspot back up. Same problem and same message on the hotspot. I've tried resetting the hotspot itself. Didn't work. I've tried removing the hotspot program from my computer and reinstalling it. Didn't work either. I've looked up their site about coverage and I live where I get excellent signal. By the way, it doesn't matter if the hotspot is tethered to the computer or not. I still see the message about contacting customer service. Could it be a bad SIM card, a defective unit or what? I've spent $100 plus tax and right now I got a paperweight. |
