Gotta give it to the Griffins. Just the more entertaining family all around. And that includes the entire family.
Especially as the Simpsons hasn't been funny in at least a decade. They've scraped a hole in the bottom of that barrel. And people say that on the Simpons they give everyone equal treatment, I guess you haven't noticed how few stories feature Lisa. And if they do, they're B-Stories, to Homer or Bart's main story. Plus Maggie is such a Non-Character half the time she's nothing more than a plot point. |

Haha even though I feel sorry for Meg, it makes the show funny too, I prefer Family Guy, even though I grew up watching The Simpsons i think the show just doesnt have that "flare" anymore, I don't relaly find it that funny but Family Guy is like always funny and I like the family in that more

Simpsons there are no outcasts in the family even Bart and Homer are still treated with respect by most of the family, and I find that every family member with the exception of Maggie has had a couple of episodes where the have really shone. Plus the fact the Simpsons are still on 22 years later.
The Simpsons have had a much bigger impact on popular culture Last edited by Canada; 05-05-2011 at 11:32 PM. |

Family Guy all the way. The Simpsons was great when I was 7-12, but as I got older it became boring and just the same stuff every episodes. The show hasn't been funny for years and really needs to stop, because you know something's wrong when the better stuff is outweighed by the weaker stuff.
Family Guy though has a more interesting array of characters, so can create much better comedy, especially when you have a character like Stewie. |

If American Dad were there I'd vote for it because it is funnier and always fresh then both shows combined, the last good thing that came out of Family Guy was the TV special "And Then There Were Fewer" and the last good thing from the Simpsons was the movie.
The Simpsons has ran its course and Family Guy hasn't been funny since season 5 so give me American Dad any day of the week. |

American Dad all the way. Roger is the best character on tv. And yes, he is part of the family!
