I have a Sony that I got at London Drugs a few years back when they carried them. I have always preferred top loading players to any other type. The discs always seem a little more secure when you are putting them in. Maybe it’s all in my head though.

I have a Sony BDPSX910 for years now and it still works great.

I think that digital media is the reason why portable Blu-ray players didn't sell well but I think that there is still a place for them. Unfortunately, they are pretty hard to come by now.

I also have a Sony BDP-SX910 that I picked up around 2012ish and that thing has literally been around the world with me on business trips to hook up to the television in my hotel rooms. It's still going strong. I love mine and while I have digital as well, nothing beats physical media IMHO
