What do you think is the best era of the cult show "Mystery Science Theater 3000"?

I really love seasons 8-10 (the SciFi Channel era). So funny and rewatchable, it clicked for me in a way the other eras never came close to

I consider Joel's half season 5 to be the peak. At that point the writing had found its flow, the movie selection was top notch, and the characters had perfected their chemistry. When it changed to Mike the show had to find the rhythm again but was back on track by the end of season 6 - only to practically restart again with season 8. I consider season 10 to be the next "peak" which didn't last long enough. It seemed like whenever the show got to its best, something would cause it to return to start.

Shame the Jonah era didn't get to discover its flow. They learned a few things from season 11, experimented a bit with season 12, I imagine with another season or two the show could have found its peak again.

Love all seasons of the show, but if I had to pick an era, I'd go with 2-5.

I went with seasons 5-7, although season 2-5 is the era when I started watching it. Don't think I've seen much of season 1 and the Sci-Fi Channel era, while okay, wasn't as memorable to me as the previous ones. Never saw the KTMA era. The Netflix era looked promising at the beginning but I only made it half way through its first season before I finally had to stop. I just didn't find it very good.
