I thought about getting the PS3 game back when it happened. But a remaster sounds all the better!

From what I understood this was only released in Japan, and it’s slightly different from the Nier that was released worldwide (different main character for example)

That Nier boss fight looks interesting fighting the boxes/orbs. I think I remember a Nier demo years ago that I played.

Okay, it was for Nier Automata I remember. It was interesting for an action platformer.

Wow... those character designs are distractingly awful. I actually canceled my white snow edition after that. I'm not saying the game is trash, but I am saying Kaine looks stupid. And the main guy also looks stupid with his oversized boots and his little shorts. I'll give it a chance for the story to win me over when its on sale or on gamepass, but theres a LOT hitting in April-june for me to look for any excuse to save money.

Funny how the character models get changed and all of a sudden the original models aren’t ugly anymore lol (something nobody shut up about 10 years ago). The new models are fantastic and giving Kaine the same face as

canonically makes sense.

Well there should be second costume for the Nier boy. And on Ps3 You could have DLC that changed the costumes. I'm sure that this will be the case here too.
