Hopefully this is good news for physical media. Another big player to compete with CDON, Discshop, Ginza and Kvarnvideo should be a positive thing for the customers. I predict lower prices and more store exclusives. Hopefully it will also be easier for nordic distributors to reach out to Europe and the rest of the world.

Hopefully they ship to UK. Miss my Swedish BD now living in the UK. Is a hassle getting stuff here as only a few sites ship outside the Nordics.
May kick CDON to do international shipping on their full Nordic range of titles. |

Have been a few news articles about this in Sweden. Not to many because it really hasn't been officially announced yet. And speculation that Amazon will (perhaps) pay little corporate taxes in Sweden, depending on how they set up their enterprise. If so, I have no problem in never ever shop from their site.

How the world changes, nothing really on the high street these days and most people seem to have moved to streaming, even more so than UK and Germany where you can still buy discs on the high street. Hopefully they allow shipping anywhere and not make it like Amazon Australia which only ships within Australia. There is no reason why they couldn't ship anywhere in EU and I guess Norway as an EFTA member is okay. Problem may be for those of us in UK once we have full Brexit in 2021. |

So far it seems like they have only translated the german site. I believe they will have to stock nordic editions and possibly store exclusives to be able to compete with CDON, Discshop, Ginza and Kvarnvideo. It’s a good resource for german Blu-rays - but I prefer imports from UK, US and Australia with english writing on the covers. I’ve tried to order from them once and it went smooth. My items arrive quickly and they offer free shipping over 229 SEK.
