Since summer 2020 SF Studios have been the distributor of Warner bros. titles on physical media in the nordic region.
From 2021 they will also handle the distribution for Universal and Sony. |

It’s apparently a way to streamline the production and bring more content to physical media in the nordic region.
They also handle MGM, STX Films and their own catalog of Nordic movies and TV shows. It may be a bit troubling with one big player but I do believe that this is good news. We have seen fewer titles from Sony and Universal during the last year. If collaborations like these will help reduce manufacturing costs, more releases will see the light of day. |
