Ok, I finally bit. Couldn't pass on the $27.00 Black Friday deal for PC.

I got this for $3.19 from a recent Best Buy sale for PS4. A massive 35gb patch later, the game just basically throws you into the open world without much guidance, except for the annoying tutorials. There are a ton of options in the menus but not a lot of explanation. The first few missions don't seem very exciting.

Maybe it's because I'm playing solo that I feel a combination of overwhelmed by the map but underwhelmed by the lack of guidance. I'm not sure if I should go forward with the game, since it seems to be a walking simulator with rinse/repeat missions. What am I missing?

I loved Wildlands and clocked up nearly 60 hours in solo but I just can't get into Breakpoint and usually turn it off after 30 mins.
It's just a dull game and I can't get along with the controls either.

Clocked up 95 hours solo on Division 2 and loved every minute of it
