Well, according to critical reviews and moviegoers, he seems to be 5 for 5 as far as films are concerned. Let's see what he pulls off here.

Side note: I'm sure Christopher McQuarrie will be 5 for 5 after this year.

He's 3 for 5 for me, but I'm still really looking forward to this.

For me, that's an understatement. I love all of Wright's movies equally. I might give a slight edge to Shaun of the Dead since that was my introduction to him.

His worst (World's End) is still entertaining and a fun watch, what other movie you think wasn't good?

Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead are excellent, Worlds End is pretty great but i can leave the rest.

I love everything except Baby Driver, which is a good time but has the weakest screenplay, especially for Edgar Wright, and a dud lead performance in Ansel Elgort. His chemistry with Lily James is non-existent. But the action is a lot of fun and I love Jon Hamm in it.

Baby Driver would be a perfect movie if it knew how and when to end. The last 10-15 minutes knock it down quite a bit.

Love Hot Fuzz and I remember really liking Scott Pilgrim, but I need to rewatch it. Shaun of the Dead and World's End are fine, I guess.

I like the Cornetto trilogy. I don't like SCOTT PILGRIM or BABY DRIVER (that one, for a long list of reasons).

Baby Driver is the one Wright film I disliked. I hated the lead and just found the writing annoying. I felt like since he wrote it alone. He didn’t have anyone to tell him when to tone down his impulses. And that dragged the movie down to me. I’m super excited for this movie though. He has a co-writer.

Some news - my new film @lastnightinsoho will now be coming out later in the year. I know some of you may be disappointed, but my hope is more of you will be able to experience it as we intended; in the dark, on a big screen, with an audience. See you at the movies...10/22/21
