This movie vaguely poses some interesting questions about the role of AI and general advanced technology in warfare. However, it doesn't really do much with them and it doesn't received the support of compelling characters to bring life to its admittedly unoriginal story.
So in effect, the movie ends up being a mix of the same sorts of elements and generic style we've seen before. And it does all this without much character or energy, just following our characters from location to location to advance the plot. At the end of the day, it ends up being bland rather than "bad", but sometimes bad movies are more fun or memorable..... 5/10 |
