Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers
Friday the 13th: Part 2 ^ best in series The Final Destination is one of the better entries in the series (after 1 and 3), although I hated it when I first saw it (3D showing) Not sure if it's an unpopular opinion, but I feel Addams Family Values is superior to the original, although I love "The Mamushka" Disney's Pocahontas - not factually accurate or held in high regard like others in the Renaissance, but very entertaining Last edited by ArtVanderlay; 01-23-2021 at 10:39 AM. |

I don't know if this one was already mentioned in the topic, but I think 2017's Power Rangers is severely underrated. I mean, it's very hard for any non-Marvel superhero-like movie to be successful these days, thanks to Marvel and DC's monopoly over the genre, but I was legitimately impressed by this one.
I'm a 90s kid, and I used to watch the Mighty Morphin' and Zeo seasons in my childhood, but I kind of stopped watching after that (I did watch some Time/Wild Force episodes). When I went to watch the 2017 movie in theaters, I was blown away by how good it was. It did what the show never properly did: develop its characters. It is, by all means an origin story, and I love those. The climax is what it's meant to be: a climax. That's when they morph and they finally become the rangers. Of course that, in the sequel (that sadly will never happen) they would have more screen time for the rangers, but for what it is, I loved it. |

Tron Legacy.
And I don't even really like the first Tron. I like Terminator Dark Fate as well but...I don't know if I'd go so far as to label it underrated. But....it was the best Terminator movie since T2 EASILY (IMO). All The Hobbit movies.. |

Power Rangers kinda shocked me. Great effects. Fun movie. Some might say that's just nostalgia talking but...I'm too old to be nostalgic for Power Rangers because I always HATED that show and was far too old to have gotten into it by the time it was a thing. So....my liking the 2017 Power Rangers movie means it must've had SOMETHING to it. Don't get me wrong...it's not perfect or will totally knock your socks off but...I bought it. Never in a million years would I have expected such a thing. I'd watch a sequel. It was about on par with those last two TMNT movies (which are underrated as well....especially that second one. It was a blast)..
