Nope. Heard about it, though. The last Nic Cage movie I watched was Mom and Dad. But if I see The Color Out of Space on my streamings, I'll give it a chance.

This Jiu Jitsu movie looks like a cheap SyFy channel production of Predator meets Mortal Kombat.

It's a really good HP Lovecraft adaptation. If you like Weird Science Fiction and weird Nic Cage, it's perfect.

Crap. Just checked, it's nowhere in my streamings. Except for Vudu, but I gotta pay. I'm sure it's worth it, but I'll wait a bit longer and see if it shows up anywhere else.

I'm not gonna lie, I think that every time I see the words Jiu Jitsu Starring Nicolas Cage.

As a kid Joe Jitsu was my favorite character from that cartoon.

Saddens me when my reading comprehension kicks in.

I remember when The Rock (film) and Con Air hit theaters. I was a new Nic Cage fan. Then Snake Eyes was released followed by 8mm. I wasn't a Nic Cage fan after those two. Then Gone in 60 Seconds, no longer a fan. He seemed to be dialing in his acting, and it seemed flat.

Then Kick Ass was better, then Drive Angry 3D. That's better as far as action goes. He was good as a voice actor in The Croods.

Then a bunch more free to watch movies on Tubitv .com starring Nic Cage. The film Rage, and I'm a fan again. He can really act when he tries, and he's got a number of entertaining movies that have a lot of personality thanks to his acting style and character.

Seriously though, he stars in like 5+ new movies a year. 7 in 2019.

Jiu Jitsu is a generic sounding title like a Martial Art like "Kung Fu" would be for a movie title, but the movie looks promising. Tony Jaa in there too, cool; amazing in The Protector 1.

I'll check this out.

Just watched it. I hate dumping on movies but it was a wasted opportunity. I love B actioners, and have can incredibly low bar for enjoyment. Prior to this I'd watch Paydirt, with Luke Goss. I really enjoyed it. I can overlook budgetary and technical skill deficiencies if I can enjoy the story and the effort those involved put on. I'm a Cage fan, and have on Blu Ray and seen nearly everything of his, A and B. I'd watched Inconceivable earlier in the week (liked it).

On the plus side, Nic Cage's performance is actually pretty good, when he is in the talking sections. Just a waste of talent though, with Cage, Grillo, Rick Yune (awesome in Olympus Has Fallen), and even Marie Avgeropoulos (she is great in The 100, and I really enjoy that movie Tracers).

Eddie Steeples was great too. I loved him in My Name is Earl. Haven't seen him since though.
