Hi, I'm so sorry for the late reply. This item is once again available in Amazon and I could get it cheap. So I'll have to pass on this offer.

It's a 3D blu ray and it requires a 3D player. I found this out the hard way when I popped it into my player and it spat it out across the room and then gave me a dirty look!

I bought it by accident from Amazon back in March of last year right before the lockdown. Hence couldn't return it in time.

The Amz India entry for the LoTR EE states that it is a 6-disc set, and the back cover contains nothing about the bonus features. They may be present, but they are not mentioned. On the other hand the set cinefan indian is selling is labeled as a 15-disc set which will contain, apart from the films on blu-ray, multiple DVD's filled with several hours of bonus features (I think 3 bonus DVD's per film is the count). Thanks for the heads up, but I already own the DVD set of the Extended versions which has all the bonus features. So even if I have only the movies, it is no issue.

But the case on Amazon REALLY sucks! It's just plain cardboard. Not like the magnetic flip case we see abroad.
