100,000 dead and an even worse Brexit deal than the one Maybot negotiated coming home to roost later, I think a lot of people are saying that out loud these days.

I guess one good thing about the delays is that they're probably already working on the next bond and probably have a good idea who it will be, so we won't have to wait too long for it after NTDD

I love the presumptive 'just' in this sentence, as if doing this would involve no financial, legal, contractual or logistical ramifications whatsoever.

WB did it for their entire 2021 slate of films. I think MGM could figure this shit out for one film.

February or March would be perfect for Netflix.
MGM only need to do the right thing; sell No Time To Die to Netflix.

MGM has already tried and failed to get No Time to Die on streaming. None of the streamers were willing to put up the money for it.

Except Netflix aren’t buying. They’ve already tried peddling it and no service is willing to foot the Bill.

They don't need to do a damn thing. People need to stop acting so entitled. It's their movie and their money. So they will do what they want with it.

Crying and whining about putting them online isn't going to make them do so. I'm sure everyone on here have hundreds to thousands of movies to watch.

Sure you can wait and it's not going to kill you.

Yes. It cost too much to obtain it so everyone passed, even Apple.

To think the CEOs of these various streaming services have already seen the film, and us peasants haven't.

Yup. Worse yet, I think Deadline even mentioned that the people they talked to that saw it thought it was amazing and "worth the wait". Easy for them to say when they don't have to do the waiting anymore lol.

Financial expectations aside, after all these delays and all this time waiting, there's going to be an untenable amount of pressure for this movie to be good enough to have been worth the wait. I doubt any movie could live up to it.

Well, there's a lot of factors involved that make the cost of the movie so high for streaming. For one, the movie cost an already-hefty $250 million. That's also before the payoffs you'd have to do for the talent regarding back-end deals if you go for a streaming release. Then there's the amount MGM has already spent marketing the movie, which is probably exorbitant. After that, the streamers would still have to throw in a decent amount of extra money on top to make it profitable/worthwhile for MGM. Deadline said the streamers were done negotiating for anything over $300 million, and MGM would absolutely need more than that to make a streaming deal happen.
