AQ - Quite good actually but won't go into it any further.

Main issue: As I was expecting it has the same issue as the Bhool Bhulayiya disc. Someting went wrong during authoring and with default setting on BD player and PJ calibrated black floor was way too high and everything was looking washed out and dull.

Other issues: Between BB and Partner, BB has better quality. Partner showed color bleed, banding, inconsistent grain and contrast issues. The image although is not really upscaled but it looked like not treated properly.

Also, not only BollywoodBlu-ray should be quoted and referred to for information on upcoming releases. The Indian market is enormous, and since they are not the one and only stop for information, everyone is encouraged to contribute.

Keep the forum members interested in learning about ALL Indian Blu-ray films (Bollywood, Kollywood, Tollywood, etc) informed, Deciblu!

I don't know about JODHAA AKBAR (Hindi) that different blu-ray disc

original JODHAA AKBAR blu-ray (lock Region-B) DTS HD Master and only french subtitle, no english.

later...
JODHAA AKBAR is now lock region-C for blu-ray, same audio and english subtitle

other JODHAA AKBAR is free region on blu-ray but True HD Dolby audio.



I'll wait for DTS HD Master, English subtitle and free region.

Moserbaer is going to release the first malayalam blu-ray disc on April 2010. The movie will be Pazashhi Raja. The news article:

Producer G. Dhananjayan of Moser Baer Entertainment has made an official confirmation over the acquisition of Home Video
rights (DVD, VCD, Blu-Ray and other formats) of Malayalam Blockbuster Film PAZHASSI RAJA.

Featuring Mamootty, Sarath Kumar, Suman, Manoj K Jayan, Padmapriya, Kaniha in lead roles, the film is Produced by Gokulam Films. Apart from winning rave reviews and big collections in Kerala box office, the Tamil version too has been witnessing extraordinary results at box office.

Says Dhananjayan, Moser Baer Entertainment will be bringing out the film in all formats of Home Video and also in Blu-Ray format for the first time in Malayalam film industry in April 2010 across the World. Moser Baer is proud to have acquired the rights at the highest ever price in home video rights, considering the importance of this title in the history of Malayalam film industry.

I am a big fan of Love Aaj Kaal, am disappointed when is eros releasing this, the dvd was out last month, we loose anticipation waiting for blue ray. They need to get is out before christmas, and make some katching at the register when we are all in the spending mood.
