it is however from Moserbaer so im scared to even think about how the BD of this landmark film will be..

Strange randomness. How much is webmailindia to be trusted? The disc is not part of MoserBaer's previously announced slate of forthcoming blu-rays, MoserBaer's website doesn't have the disc, and in fact it only lists a VCD of the film, not even a DVD.

ive seen the moserbaer DVD... awaiting to hear any other sorce.. but this website has the price at 599 and it says instock for BLURAY

I disliked this film and so will not be getting this blu-ray (yet again haha). This tends to happen a lot with the films which are being put on to blu-ray.

lol I'll admit that i don't totally remember everything from the film, but from what i do remember, it was your everyday cheesey, drama filled Bollywood movie.

It was a cheesy movie but the songs really made it. Not buying till some reviews and more clarification can be made...

Hum Aapke Hain koun was a kind of landmark movie for us Bollywood movie lover here is South Africa. It was the first movie to have a full release in theaters across the country, we normally had independent theater houses that showcased bollywood. HAHK changed that trend, so its special for me in more ways than one.
The reason i love HAHK is Madhuri Dixit, Gosh this woman is legendary, she gave this movie its beauty and splendour.
Aditya Chopra says he was so inspired by HAHK, it led him to make DDLJ, and HAHK started the trend for these kind of movies. As cheesy as it was, it was a pure entertainer.
Raamlaxman and his magical duo, S. P. Balasubramanium & Lata Mangeshkar, deserve alot of recognition. The music was outstanding.

A definite buy from me, barring there are no watermarks, or PQ & AQ issues.

its sad to say but i'd rather EROS releases this than Moserbaer..

Totally agree. EROS has churned out the worst dvds ever for this spectacular movie. All of their dvds looked like pirated copies, full of pixelation, blur and artifacts. I seriously hope that mosebaer does a fantastic job of this but without watermarks, with a lossless audio and proper 5.1 mix. Have high expectations with this movie on bluray!

though it was the first dolby movie.....i dont think it was recorded in 5.1 i think it was just stereo sound.......correct me if iam wrong......so we can expect a 2channel dts hd-ma here.....

Actually 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun' was never released in Dolby at all. It was released in Ultra Stereo, which was a competing format to Dolby Stereo. It is a analog 2 channel matrixed format consisting of Left, Center, Right & Surround channels.
