He did something funky to his shoulder against Portland. Had to leave the game for a bit. Hope it's not serious. I've really been enjoying how he's playing lately.

He's getting more assertive, and the last thing he needs is to mope on the bench for a few weeks and revert to his timid play.

Obviously, Ball won't be playing on Christmas, and it's somewhat surprising that he's going to miss an entire week considering he was able to play through the injury on Saturday. It'll be interesting to see who Luke Walton brings into the starting five while Ball is on the sidelines, but the decision will likely be between Jordan Clarkson or Josh Hart. Hart is coming off a nice 11-point, 10-board outing, so he's on the radar as a potential speculative add in deep leagues. Even if Clarkson doesn't enter the starting five, he should see more consistent playing time while Ball is out.

Steph Curry's not playing so if the Cavaliers don't win by at least 10 I'd consider it a failure.

No matter how many times the ws and cavs play eachother it doesnt feel like a true rivalry. They're just tired of eachother.

You’re the only one who’s surprised. The Warriors are a formidable team even without him, and some serious home cooking allowed them to have Durant for the entire game.

There were bad calls both ways. I honestly didn't understand the controversy with Durant/Calderon. I saw Durant bringing the ball up the court and then the officials blew it dead. I guess Durant mouthed off to an official...or to Calderon? I didn't get the offense. I'll have to watch it again. Either way, the first tech against Durant was ticky-tack to begin with, so I'm glad it didn't amount to much.

All that aside, Cleveland should have won that game, in spite of questionable officiating. They had way more rest and more healthy stars. No excuses.
