Does anyone know where to get storage cases for 3D glasses? Or maybe a good suggestion as to what I can use?
I have 4 pairs of Samsung 3D glasses. You would think for $300+ they would give something sturdier than cloth storage sleeves. I'd rather have them in a box or case so I know there's less chance of them braking or getting smashed. |

Follow mfg. instructions. For the Sony TDG-BR100/BR50 "Wipe gently with a soft cloth. Stubborn stains (zombie gore flying off the screen, for instance) may be removed with a cloth slightly moistened with a solution of mild soap and water. If using a chemically pretreated cloth, be sure to follow the directions provided on the package. Never use strong solvents such as a thinner, alchohol or benzine for cleaning."

In Astronomy, the recommendation is clean as little as possible, and only when your lenses, or mirrors are really dirty, so some people may only clean their mirrors, or lenses, once a year, or leave even longer.
The idea is everytime you clean a lens, or mirror, you do microscopic damage each time you clean them, so clean as less as possible is the story. Same would apply to 3D classes, you run the risk of damage each time you clean them, better off keeping them in the case when not used, and only clean when you really notice they are dirty and effecting how clear the view is, else leave them. But I find ordinary warm soapy water works well and no streaking, use this method on my tv's and lcd screens works well, and gently wipe dry with soft clean cloth, with no real pressure until dry. |

Hey I was looking for some soft cases to store my 3D glasses in but I couldnt find any large enough for the Samsungs, which are about 8" in length. Most the soft cases are 6 1/2 so I was wondering what some other people are doing with theirs?

Good idea, but they're website doesn't include any options for glasses storage...they seem to not be necessarily up to date with what they're currently selling on their website.
I mean I will probably just end up with a basic soft case for mine but I was curious as to what some other members on the site are doing with their glasses since they cost a pretty penny..even once they're $50 a pop |
