Assuming AP international is making the Blu-ray, it seems like Sri Balaji has the home video rights for EEGA.
Its definitely a must buy Blu-ray, considering that its box office collections are in the top five of all time in Telugu Film Industry, and top 2 in USA for a Telugu movie ever. It is also the best rated Telugu movie in recent times by both critics and people.

Before I get too excited, please confirm that you were referring to making a Telugu Blu-ray and not the Tamil version (Naan Ee).

I never got a chance to see this movie in theaters as there were only two shows in my city in a crappy desi theater which I avoid.

and ppl looking for tamil naan ee i guess sun got tamil rights so as usual they wont allow bluray because they want to telecast in their HD channel

I wonder why Telugu Home Video rights are sold for a higher price than the Tamil movies.
Its because of these higher prices, I know several Telugu movies never release on DVD.

Tamil and Telugu both have approximately equal number of viewers

Some companies (excluding Bhavani and Sri Balaji) are not releasing Blu-ray for hit movies eventhough they have the rights. Aditya Videos recently said they will not release a Blu-ray for Racha as production costs can't be met.
If the rights were cheaper they could afford to make a Blu-ray.
