Game of Thrones or True Blood?

GOT for me. My gf is annoying me lately telling me she's "losing interest" in Thrones because its going no where and that they kill off characters left and right and that she hates that the ending of each season never wraps up any stories "like True Blood" and they are taking long to getting to the point and who is gonna take the Throne. Lol she's says there's so too many stories going on. I told her that the books haven't finished and she was like oh wth and blah blah...

In my opinion GoT is amazing! I love story telling and build up I love that this show has the balls to keep very close to the source material and actually kill characters (I've never read the books) her biased opinion on true blood is making me lose interest in that show...she's all in love with the character Eric lol TB's acting is horrible but I was entertained for the most part. But whatever to each their own.

P.s. I forgot ti.mention she thinks Vampire Dairies is superior to game of thrones :/ lmao

Well imo they ruined the vampire authority and Russel last season. Which is a shame since Russel was one of my favorite villians, and one of the reasons I liked season 3 so much. The lillith stroryline went on far to long and imo was just stupid. The stories were to scattered and not connected like before. The fairy storyline was underused especially the lead fairy who lasted about 10 minutes. Sookie bordered on annoying for me, and I honestly have lost interest in who she ends up with, because of the way they have dragged everything out. For me the cliffhanger would have been better if Bill had just stayed dead. As it is, it wasn't that unexpected to me and from the trailers they will probably end up still trying to make people like him. Which his character is far beyond that point for me.

Those are just my reasons for disliking it though, and I am glad if you are still able to enjoy the show. As I did enjoy its first 3 seasons a lot especially the Godric arc, but then it just lost me.

I thought that True Blood was great for the first 3 seasons and then I felt the quality of the show fell off, and last season I felt was pretty bad.

Game of Thrones has quality that is almost unmatched on TV know GoT has not been on as long as True Blood but GoT is at least at the same quality as the first episode, and after seeing episode 3.09 it has only gotten better, I haven't been this anxious to see new episodes of a show since 24.

True Blood is the least consistent vampire show I've watched. But there are some great moments. Enough that I'm going to miss it when it's gone.

GOT benefits from having a pretty clear idea of where it's going with it's story and characters. Part of why it's among the best shows out there.
