I haven’t had any issues either. Hate the new party system, but I’ve not had any crashes on my Pro, no PSN disconnects (including a few hours of Borderlands 3) etc.

Just as a reference, the game is stored on my external HDD. Has anybody experienced any issues playing games from that since the FW update?

The only reason i'm hoping it's the console side and not the external HDD is because if you can simply plug and play the games with the external HDD plugged from a PS4 to PS5, then its not particularly an issue once i have the PS5.

Got booted from the psn 3x today while playing Bless Unleashed. I'm playing from the ps4 pro internal ssd. Oh ya. I'm also using the eithernet cable and not wireless.

Tbh, i haven't really played all that much stuff since the update from the external except this one game and that's why it threw me since it was after the update and that's when all the stuff happened with the PSN friends list etc. and seeing a game lock up so often. Sometimes you wait like 10-20 seconds and it seems to fix. Others it just "hangs" and even recently i've noticed an error code crash to the XMB for that 378-0 BS code nobody knows how to fix.

Sometimes i get lucky and it works fine for hours on end too. So i am just super confused what's potentially causing the issue.

It couldn’t be something as simple as a corrupted hard drive could it? (Your external one). Would that cause the XMB to act up?

Honestly, that error code has been the bane of me even on titles installed on the internal, so i genuinely don't know but one problem i personally have and tbh, although i got a lot of space on the external, i went bang for buck and may have chosen a model moreso due to storage than performance. It's also a power brick version you need to plug into an external and i was thinking maybe for PS5 i should buy a cheaper plug in type replacement but hopefully it'll be a non-issue on PS5.

Lol, i'll let you know how it goes. Sans a 4K TV, it's hard to justify going for it at launch imo despite the QoL improvements.

About the new PS App for iPhone/Android. Anyone else notice how they completely removed the Trophy activity feed from showing? Or am I missing something?

I see there is a PS App thread but it hasn't been active since 2014 and no one is going to look there.
