It is a mistake. Amazon has the rights to release the MOD DVD, thus it wouldn't be on .com and be region 2. It would be on .co.uk instead only. I doubt Nick gave Amazon.com (US) rights to release it in the UK, when they would have given it to Amazon UK instead. Simple mistake, by dumb Amazon workers.

Has anyone seen the new slipcovers for the individual seasons of Spongebob? My local Target only had seasons 1 and 8 (there weren't even spots for the other seasons.) I'd like to track down the other seasons.

Pre-orders for the DVD releases of All Grown Up and Rocket Power in Australia, were recently added to JB Hi-Fi:
All Grown Up - Season 1
All Grown Up - Season 2
Rocket Power - Season 1
Rocket Power - Season 2

The series will be released in keep cases, there will be no limited edition digipak packaging, like releases of earlier Nickelodeon series.
All Grown Up Seasons 1 & 2 will each include two bonus episodes of Rugrats Pre-School Daze too.

I added a bunch of these to my Amazon wish list yesterday and today a bunch of prices dropped. Doug Complete Series is $12.99 and the first season of Rugrats is $9.99. Bought both of those. Shelby Woo dropped to $24.99 also. A bunch of others too.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the Nickelodeon Games + Sports sampler they have out It's currently $8.99. I picked it up a little while back when it popped up as a suggestion for $9.99. I'd buy seasons of the game shows if they brought them out.
I jumped on the Doug $12.99 deal as well for a physical copy. I actually have all 4 seasons on iTunes I bought a while ago for $10 ea which was cheaper then the DVD's at the time.

Is it possible they'll do Rugrats, or even just the "classic" Nicktoons years (seasons 1-3)? It's frustrating that all the other shows have complete series sets except this one only because it went on and on, and I think most people just want the original Nickelodeon '90's episodes anyway. Don't get me wrong, I'd bite on all 7 or whatever bundled together for $20, but I think the large number of episodes is prohibiting this a la The Simpsons.

Does anyone know if the Australian releases from BHE of Rocko and Ren & Stimpy are the same cut releases the US got? I can't find any detailed information or reviews on them anywhere.

For those wondering, I finally saw part of an episode from the German release of Rocko's Modern Life from Turbine. While the episodes themselves seem to be uncut (with the exception of the "No Tell Motel" clip, which IS on the set as an Easter Egg in very poor quality), the title sequence and episode titles have been re-animated in German. The title sequence itself doesn't really concern me but the butchering of the title cards is a killer, particularly for this show. They really look awful on this release.

Update: I received the Rocko BD set. The cut clip(s) from "The Good, The Bad and The Wallaby" switch to German audio only. It's only a short couple lines of dialogue but still annoying. Also, so far I can't locate the "No Tell Motel" easter egg. It's possible it was removed for the BD release.

If they released the individual seasons and then later on released a complete set, I think it would work.
