I bought it on PS3 the day it came out & at least remember DLC being available too.

They're talking about Tomb Raider 2 being a timed exclusive. Not the original reboot.

As an owner of all three consoles, I dislike this practice and feel in most cases it just hurts the gamer. With that said, we do not know the full details of the deal. Is this a Dead Rising 3/Bayonetta 2 type deal where they are funding development of a game that otherwise wouldn't be made? If so then I have no problem with Sony funding development in return for console exclusivity. However, if this is another 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' situation, then I will refuse to support Sony and Capcom. I will instead buy the game used purely on principle.

Moneyhatting needs to stop as it does absolutely nothing for gamers.

This is how I feel. I hope details come out at some point because I will not be buying it if it's truly removing a game from the One that at one point was designated to come out for it.

I think there are a small few instances of 3rd party exclusive games making sense. I see little fault in producing JRPGs, fly-shooters, or anime centric games exclusively for PlayStation.

In the case of Street Fighter, yea, best option would be all 8th gen caliber platforms

Sony just announced that they are working on development of SF V and that PS4 will be the ONLY platform that the game will appear on

Crossplatform play between PC also confirmed. I remember someone on here saying that stuff cant/wont happen this gen. Didn't expect it for this game but should be interesting

it looks like Sony is helping to fund development which makes sense considering Capcom hasn't been in a good place financially for a while

I still think Marvel VS Capcom 2 was the best, with the first Capcom vs SNK being my 2nd-favorite. For some reason, SNK 2 just didn't feel as solid to me.

Capcom is sitting on a GOLDMINE of intellectual property, Street Fighter is just 1 of them

Honestly MEGAMAN fans have been clamoring for a real mega Man game for years, Capcom should cut a deal.

Sony is funding this game and helping out. Doubt that would happen and I don't see this one getting all these extra versions as we almost didn't even get this 1 game with the money problems.

Well we always see articles how the gaming industry is (supposedly) hurting (financially). Devs (and publishers) are now taking any help they can get.
S-E just confirmed that Microsoft is publishing Rise of the Tomb Raider (at least for the Xbox release, no further info yet on other consoles once exclusivity ends). And Phil Spencer just "vowed to make ammends" on the SF5 exclusivity. So yeah, there's nothing stopping Capcom from taking their IP elsewhere. SF5.1 is free game

Your fooling yourself if you don't think this will get a re-release.
