Default One player better than the other?

I know that some players are better than others but is it a huge difference? Thinking about getting into 3D but I don't want to spend to much on a 3D player. Will a cheapish one be good and give me good quality?

From what I've seen, there isn't a substantial difference in 3D playback quality.
A cheap one will look fine.

I have a PS3, PS4, and a standalone Sony 3D player and they all do 3D well.
I just prefer the options that are available on the standalone and I like to save the laser on my game consoles for gaming only.

That was my main thinking. I don't want to use my PS3/4 as the main BD player. I like to save the laser on them.

Thanks for the info.
