So I think Retro mode is confirmed now thanks to the kick starter. I checked yesterday & saw they were over 2.2m now. Good stuff!

the kickstarter version will still be a collector's item, since it will have a slipcover, plus in game exclusive content (weapon and hidden boss)

Even though the counter hasn't quite hit it, they have the $2.5 mil mark listed as funded which has unlocked a multi-tier of 8-bit versions of the characters. There is also one at $2.75 mil that's labeled as "IGA's Biggest Castle."

Backers who pledge $60 or more to the Bloodstained Kickstarter campaign will receive beta access to the game via Steam for Windows PC.

Good Lord, I'm hoping there will be a "credits skip" option or some type of Rayman Legends-style credits minigame. That's encroaching upon GTA V territory...

Additionally, the campaign has added a US$3.25 million stretch goal for an asynchronous online multiplayer mode. The mode would allow players to "borrow" a friend's character stats for a certain amount of time, allow players to see a friend's "ghost data" (e.g. seeing a friend's saved character movements while fighting a boss), and more.

the vita goal has been reached

so many new stretch goals hopefully it won't distract from the main game..

- Orchestra score
- 3rd playable character
- Online challenge mode
- prequel mini game (Consoles/PC)
- prequel mini game (Handhelds)

I also think a 3rd playable character shouldn't need 250k to be unlocked why not make it a gift for all the support?

$5 million. $1 million in less than 2 days. Yeah, I'd say it picked-up just a tad towards the end.

Just backed the game for a physical copy with a $60 (plus $5 for international shipping) pledge. Game has cleared the $5 mil goal thank's to PayPal and now there's a new one set at $5.5 for a Boss Revenge mode. Let's hope the game keeps on rolling after the Kickstarter ends.

I wonder if they will consider post kickstarter funds for any additional stretch goals?
They said that they will send an email survey to all eligible backers to find out what reward they will claim from what they had pledged and will allow to add additional orders as well.

I myself am planning to add an additional physical copy once I get my email after the campaign ends.

They already have PayPal in place, so they've been getting the goals earlier than Kickstarter perceives. Which I expect will continue to be open long after funding on Kickstarter concludes.
