That I would definitely agree with. It took me like over 10 tries to beat the first boss, while it only took me like 2-3 tries for the second boss. The second mission does have harder enemies to deal with in comparison to the first mission though.

Never played much of the Souls type games but this shit is cool, I'm just farming experience by the first ladder shortcut and leveling up after getting my ass kicked before getting the shortcut. Should be able to whoop some ass soon. Finally getting used to all the menus and customization as I'm not really into games with heavy RPG mechanics and loot but I'm digging this so far and maybe I've been missing out haha. I need to get my dodge down better though, I've almost gotten killed a few times because of it while farming these demon ground enemies.

we don't know yet, I think it was supposed to be 2016 when it was first announced but no pre-order yet, which makes me think it won't be out this year

I thought blood borne was bad to learn, but this game takes the biscuit. Feels a bit clunky too and options brings up emotes. So definitely a weird little one so far.

Not been past the first area atm as kept getting killed but through death, I'm beginning to learn the system of the game and how best to go about it. ATM just been returning to the levelling station and resetting first 4 enemies so I can farm XP to level

I actually went and watched a video yesterday on YouTube to try and learn more about the game and any tricks and tips. Ended up dropping the ladder on the side and now kill the ghouls with the added XP boost from Oudama and guardian. Although I still maintain the difficulty of the game seems ridiculous.

It's like they're trying to create their own versions of Souls games when I feel they could get away with a more action oriented game. Heck, the enemies already seem to act more like that and overwhelm you. Can't exactly 1v1 that often when they all rush. You then just end up running and getting chased. What's the damn point.

Never been much of a Dark Souls or any other incarnation of the game guy much. This game and the Japanese Onimusha vibe mixed with Souls mechanics though is awesome so far. Did well on first playthrough and the first boss took a little bit to beat but the 2nd was hard as hell and the enemies were a lot tougher, but finally got the hang of them and the boss Nue after a friend helped me take it down. Who knew the katana stunned him when striked? Anyway I'm looking forward to the more polished final release when it happens.
