Thanks guys. Being able to bring down the house mortgage to a manageable level is key to me. I don't want to look at my kids one day and tell them I'm foreclosing because I lost my job and could no longer meet payments.

Also, I still got a good 25 years of work to catch up on retirement. It's not like I need more than a million dollars. Anywhere between $750K to $1M is enough. I'd rather live worry-free after paying down the mortgage to say $70K principal remaining.
