I saw original copies of SUPERMAN 1, 2, and 3 on Beta the other day -- but passed on them!

My last one came in the Lost: Season 5 Dharma Initiative Orientation Kit blu-ray set.

My VHS isn't even hooked up to my tv anymore. Just gathering dust.

Mine is. I still use it to watch movies that haven't made it to optical disc yet. I still have all of my VHS tapes and I will occasionally watch one.

If you watch a VHS and upscale it on a 4k TV, do your eyes gush blood, and then explode?

I thought so. Pointless thread.

Probably the Tom and Jerry kids show VHS copy, I had about 20 years back (darn two decades ago lol). As a kid I gradually got tired of cleaning the mold on VHS tapes. Thankfully DVDs showed up and now Blu ray. At least I need not worry about mold anymore

I was thinking about starting a VHS collection soon. I wanted to try to get a working VCR first so in case I decide to pop in on I could. But then I started looking around and where I live VHS isn't as common as it used to be I am not finding many even yard sales or thrift stores selling them right now. I think the format is officially moved into collector territory which sucks because I fear that will drive up prices of the good stuff I would want to collect.

Honestly I am surprised at how hard to find so many DVD's have become even when looking on Amazon. Sure I can find most any I want but often it's one or two copies going right now for outrageous prices.
