Getting steelbooks signed - Blu-ray Forum

I was thinking about getting some steelbook signs.
I was wondering if the perminent marker would stay on thw case. Are some books better than other? Like the more glassy plasticy ones vs the regular ones

I've only had one steelbook signed - and it dried quickly and looks wonderful (used just a standard black marker)

(mine was the phantom of the paradise steelbook from the uk - more of a matte finish - signed by SWAN, paul williams)

Thats awesome! I'm thinking of getting my Back to the Future Steel book signed by Doc Brown himself. I usally get Laserdiscs signed but I already have the bluray

My Shawshank Redemption steelbook got signed and it dried immediately. It was even done in gold sharpie, looks great.

I have two signed in black sharpie and they look fine and dried pretty quick.
1) Casino Royale: Mads Mikkelson
2) Sarah Conner chronicles season 1: Summer Glau

I usually bring a paint pen but sharpie works. I have Evil Dead signed by Bruce Campbell, Mondo Dredd signed by Karl Urban and Lena Headey, and Serenity signed by Alan Tudyk and Jewel Staite(Getting Fillion, Glau, and Baccarin this year). I focus on getting steelbooks signed at Comic Cons

I have The Crow signed by James O'Barr and BatB signed by Paige Others. Crow was signed in silver and looks great.
