What happened to these two labels? They used to be the go to labels in Sweden for cult films. Now both of them release pretty boring, mainstream or modern stuff. None of the obscure, older and cool trash they made their names with. Such a shame.
Don't get me wrong, I love Arrow and Blue Underground, but it would be nice to have some cult labels in my own country that I could rely on instead of constantly having to import. Also, since I own a lot of these movies I would like to catalogue them on this site but it seems I'll have to add these particular scandinavian releases myself. Only problem is I haven't quite figured out how to do that yet since I'm new here. |

I thought they were winding down the business, because as you say they seem to be releasing a lot less than they used to. Is a pity they closed their subdvd store and mail order business in Stockholm. Now they just seem to have their offices in the building when I walked past a few months back.

I used to buy everything religiously. Pretty much all of the AWE-transfers made for very nice looking dvds. Then came bluray... I still buy some things from njuta or studio s but far from everything. The things they release now don't interest me that much and the OCD-thingy of having everything they release has passed so the next culling of the collection will probably remove some of the dvds as well. It's too bad, but I guess the bluray-market for the titles they released on dvd is infinitesimal in Scandinavia (it was small already for dvds and most of the people who bought those won't upgrade to a bluray).

Could anybody tell how Njutafilms's Cannibal Holocast blu-ray compare to Grindhouse releasings version? Is it even close to the same quality?
