I am moist. Bar one screenshot, I get the impression these might be from early in the game. She has a different outfit to what we've seen in the renders and the shortened trailer.

Full reveal and my avengers screening the same day? Yes please! Those screenshots look great. Is that Jonah with her in the one shot? He looks so much better.

Yup, Jonah's back and it's rumoured that Sam and Reyes are also returning. They could die for all I care, though. I was never a huge fan of the supporting characters in the 2013 reboot.

Yeah... I agree. I liked Jonah, but Sam was a derp, and I really didn't care about Reye's issues with Roth. And I didn't care about Roth either.

. Sam takes the cake for being queen moron though.

Start of the game: Lara and guy on the beach, guess what? I'm related to himiko!
End of the game: Oh my god like what could you want with me? What do you mean you think I'm related to himiko? Where could you have gotten that idea?

And to think that it was Crystal's original intention to kill Sam off at the end of the game.

Admittedly I haven't read any of the newer comics. I did start reading the tie-in novel, The Ten Thousand Immortals, but it got so repetitive that I bailed halfway through.

The game looks beautiful and I love her design in this game! September can't come soon enough! I think I might buy the collectors edition. (Which I guess would give us two of them, lol.)

I'm hoping for three things here:

-More mandatory puzzles/tombs in order to proceed
-More exploration possibilities
-No AI characters accompanying you while doing the above

Microsoft have released the trailer early.

Great stuff, although my excitement for the full reveal later has deflated now that I've essentially seen everything.

Hopefully they've got some gameplay footage to show us, but I'm thinking that the CGI trailer, box art and screenshots were the extent of it.

Various online previews have cropped up now that the embargo is lifted. Biggest takeaways from the demo:

- The story emphasises that Lara's tomb raiding can be destructive and selfish. She inadvertently causes a flood after retrieving an artifact, and even triggers an impending apocalypse (ala The Last Revelation).

- Underwater exploring is back - properly - for the first time since Underworld.

- The wall run from Anniversary and Underworld makes a comeback.

- Stealth is further emphasised. Lara can camouflage herself via the jungle environment.
