I'm not interested in X characters appearing in an Avengers game; there are plenty of Avengers heroes without needing to add in the mutants.

many of them are/have been Avengers so its well within the realm of possibilties that we will see mutants

It'll also have connections putting it in both the same world as the PS4 Spider-Man game (that Sanctum Sanctorum appearance in still images was not just for fun), as well as Eidos Montreal's Guardians of the Galaxy. Marvel Games wants in on that shared universe idea that has made the films literal billions of dollars.

Now, there are some grains of truth sewn into this (which could be either adding to the veracity of the report or just someone being clever). There are connections from Spider-Man PS4 to other Marvel characters like Doctor Strange, and Eurogamer and Kotaku both separately reported that Deus Es was being put on a backburner for Eidos Montreal to develop a Guardians game (which statements from Eidos have backed up, with them officially saying they are working on an untitled game).

Either way, with the game, almost certainly showing up at Square Enix's June 11th presentation, we will know soon enough about what this Avengers game is (as well as their purported Guardians of the Galaxy game).

I dont beleive that rumor. Ultimate Alliance was Activision's series. I dont see SE confusing gamers by giving their game the same subtitle. It doesnt make sense either to want to associate that especially since the last game wasnt universally recieved well

Would be cool if they offered single player offline games for Marvel, rather than only all online multiplayer games, but we'll find out soon enough.

I was actually going to sell my Playstation Pro to buy a 4k player. I'll hold off for two weeks to see how this turns out. The only reason I bought the PS4 was to play Spider-Man but I've done that now.

If the gameplay truly is a mix between Uncharted and Infamous (and it's single-player friendly) I'm gonna be so stoked for this! I really want a good story centered Marvel console game that's not legos or Mortal Kombat style.

Where do you get Uncharted from? I dont see how an Avengers game can even have gameplay resembling what we have in Uncharted

.....im eagerly awaiting gameplay of this and more info because IF it meets my expectations, its got the potential to be my top 3 most anticipated games

I dont like the faces. The characters look off model. Doesnt help that the lineup is MCU inspired which makes them look even more odd. I think this reveal is underwhelming and the presenters are annoying
