I did a search, but didn't find an exact thread for this. Mods, please move to the appropriate one if needed.
I'm sure all Targets will vary in their selection, but this is what I found at mine tonight. There are many...They are endcaps placed in the sections where people might want to find them, and normal people don't bother to go.
![]() ...Just look in the back aisle. ![]() This may be the most YMMV post I've ever witnessed in the Hot Deals forum. Last edited by strumdogg; 08-20-2016 at 04:43 AM. Reason: I know...I've been there! |

Also, for whatever reason, anytime they get an online order returned to the store, they reduce the price and throw it out into the clearance section as well. So sometimes good stuff gets marked down that way, while other times even the discounted price still sucks (lots of overpriced Blu-rays at my local store even after the return discount like Jersey Boys and Brick Mansions). I found a Walking Dead steelbook marked down because of that.

It's only when a DPCI drops out of the store system and becomes an "Online Only" item. The price change team can scan that barcode on the front and everytime they scan it the price will drop 30%. That's why you see multiple stickers.

Exclusives are the most vulnerable to this...If you buy an Exclusive from Target, while it may be worth more on the online market...(may)...you may not be able to return/exchange it for the same amount, because it's not in the "system" as a viable product anymore. So, you get what the regular version is priced. Who would ever sell their retailer exclusive?! ![]() |

My Target has a good amount of Online Order returns with the AS IS sticker on DVDs/Blurays/CDs/video games and books. These are found on an endcap in the electronics department as well as the Toy Department.
The prices were better during the holiday time but occasionally there are some good deals. A few months ago, someone must have returned several copies of To Kill A Mockingbird (2 disc edition) to the store and all of them had the same price of 2.38 on it. |

I've had more luck with games than movies, but you never know what you'll find. I'm probably due to go back and check the clearance section...it's been a while since I've been to Target, and I do need drinks.
